Mike’s primary coaching purpose is to transform people’s experience of the workplace and help them perform to their full potential.

With over 25 years experience in the IT sector, including time at EDS, Logica, ABB and Transport for London, Mike has held key positions in operations, marketing, sales and general management.

Mike supplied complex software solutions, consultancy and training to a range of industry sectors including banking, utilities, transportation and defence; and brings this wealth of experience and business understanding to his coaching role.

Having worked in a variety of organisations, from small start-ups with full autonomy to multi-national billion-dollar companies with matrix-managed organisations, Mike can immediately empathise with the wide range of challenges faced by leaders and senior managers.  It was during his time as a Sales Manager and as a Managing Director that Mike became interested in human behaviour and performance of people in the work place.

Past coaching assignments include:

  • the UK Business Development Director of a  US business consulting firm – coaching around career issues;
  • the Managing Director of Gobsmacker (a specialist media production company) – coaching around the challenges of setting up the business;
  • a Technical Manager/Consultant working at Goldman Sachs – having taken on a new team management role; and
  • the IT Systems Manager for a UK industrial automation and control product distributor – coaching during the initial months of being appointed.
